The Urgent Care Clinic at CAIHC aims to offer high-quality ambulatory care to walk-in patients with immediate medical needs. Comprised of dedicated healthcare professionals including doctors, physician assistants, care coordinators, nurses, and unit clerks, the clinic collaborates to ensure optimal healthcare delivery. Patients without appointments with their primary care provider may seek urgent care at the clinic.
Common health issues addressed at the Urgent Care Clinic include urinary tract infections, prolonged vomiting/diarrhea, ear infections, minor rashes, lacerations, minor trauma, infants with fever over 101 F, shortness of breath, and orthopedic injuries. However, routine healthcare services such as physical exams, pregnancy tests, chronic medication refills (including pain management), and immunizations are not provided on weekends.
To avoid medication shortages during clinic closures, patients are advised to request medication refills during regular business hours and before holidays.
