The recent Tribal Government Training hosted by Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC) brought together Tribal Leaders and Tribal Administrators for engaging sessions focused on strengthening governance and building resilient communities. Held from January 30th to February 1st, 2024, attendees participated in workshops led by TCC programs and divisions.
This gathering provided Tribal leaders with the opportunity to learn and exchange insights on crucial topics such as financial responsibilities, Council roles, and policies affecting Tribal governance. Representatives from Holy Cross, Nulato, Ruby, and Tanana shared successful strategies for achieving self-determination, fostering collaboration and learning among attendees. The conference concluded with participants feeling empowered and equipped with valuable knowledge from leaders across the TCC region.
