Seeking Youth Delegates for the 2025 Annual Convention

Tanana Chiefs Conference Tribal Development is recruiting for six Youth Delegates to represent their respective sub-region (Lower Yukon, Upper Kuskokwim, Yukon-Koyukuk, Yukon-Tanana, Yukon Flats, and Upper Tanana). The recruitment process will be focused on professional and leadership development.

Youth delegates are required to complete an application, answer a question, and attend the annual TCC Spring Subregional meetings and convention. Youth delegates must have their own chaperones. TCC will cover the cost of travel for the youth and their chaperone.

Youth delegates that are selected will adhere to the Athabascan Values, be fully engaged in asking questions and wanting to learn about challenges affecting our region. The recruitment ages are 14-17 and must be an active TCC Tribal member school student. Must have access to a computer and internet to attend virtually.
