The number of Alaska Native language educators; in 2022 there were 52 teachers (state-wide) who held Alaska Native language/culture endorsements. These include Aleut, Athabascan, Cup’ik, Haida, Inupiaq, Tlingit, Tsimshian, and Yupik.
